Lillooet is known for its rich First Nations and Gold Rush history. One of the oldest towns in the province, the town served as “Mile 0” of the historic Cariboo Road during the 1860s Gold Rush. The region has a semi-desert climate with hot, dry summers. Lillooet is located on the traditional and unceded territory of the St’át’imc Nation.
